Conservation agriculture
Conservation agriculture regenerates degraded arable land, increases biodiversity, and sequesters carbon, while also producing food!
It is a traditional farming land management method based on the non-tillage of soil, to preserve its structure and microorganisms. It promotes the maintenance of a permanent cover, which retains moisture and prevents erosion. Growing a diversity of plant species, planting companion crops, and using crop rotation together ensure the continuous enrichment of arable land.

Here, we grow:
• Berries
• Aubergine
• Zucchini
• Squash
• Sweet potatoes
• Potatoes
Caring for this agricultural zone will generate work integration hours.
In a few years, one to two tonnes of fresh produce will be grown here. This high terrace dedicated to farming shows how social and environmental impacts are often intertwined.
